Tim Toe 'has a bit of class' and strikes on Flat debut

Koktail Divin wins Grade 1 at Aintree
Koktail Divin bounced back from defeat at Cheltenham as Lulamba came unstuck in the William Hill Manifesto Novices' Chase at Aintree. Ridden by Darragh O'Keeffe for Henry de Bromhead, the 3-1 chance raced handily throughout in a field of five, in which Nicky Henderson's Lulamba was the 1-2 favourite. Slade Steel reverts to hurdles to land Grade 2 success
A return to hurdling saw Slade Steel win for the first time since the 2024 Cheltenham Festival, as the Henry De Bromhead claimed the Grade Rathbarry & Glenview Studs Hurdle at Fairyhouse. The Henry De Bromhead trained Midnight Jet showed a smart turn of foot to win the Tom Quinlan Electrical Maiden Hurdle at Fairyhouse. Tangara Bay got a lovely leap at the last to settle matters in the Adare Manor Opportunity Mares Maiden Hurdle at Clonmel. Kilgame (16/5) made all to win the Mongey Communications Maiden Hurdle at Navan for Henry de Bromhead and Darragh O'Keeffe (26 today). Henry de Bromhead's Raglan Road (7/2cf) justified good support when leading home a 1-2 for J.P. McManus in the Bluegrass High Performance Rated Novice Steeplechase at Down Royal.
