July Flower completed a treble on the afternoon for trainer Henry De Bromhead when leading home a stable '1-2-3' in the concluding Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares Beginners Chase at Limerick.

Sent off 8/15f, Darragh O'Keeffe sat second on the Duncan Angove owned mare, as compatriot Mystical Goddess set the pace.

Coming through to lead entering the straight, July Flower led two out, as the third De Bromhead runner Tareze gave chase.

However, a better jump at that penultimate fence sealed the race for July Flower, who powered right away to beat Tareze 11 lengths, with Mystical Goddess holding on for third.

Henry De Bromhead said: "She was really good and looked electric in her jumping at some but sketchy at others. She was a high-rated mare and looked brilliant there.

"We might aim for Cheltenham in November next and while I was going three miles with her, I'm starting to wonder should I drop back to two. That sounds made but she travelled effortlessly the whole way today.

"The three of my mares ran really well although Tareze's jumping was a little sketchy but hopefully she will warm up from that. The three ran as per their hurdle ratings."
