Having sent out a double at Killarney earlier in the afternoon, trainer Henry De Bromhead competed an across the card treble as debutant La Cote Fleurie galloped on strongly to land the concluding Peppermill Restaurant Nenagh Fillies (Pro/Am) INH Flat Race at Tipperary.
Sent off 9/4f under John Gleeson, the four-year-old chased leader Red Sea Girl before going on with a circuit to race.
Pushed along entering the straight, La Cote Fleurie was strongly pressed by Circus Hill over two furlongs out.
However, despite her inexperience, the newcomer put her head down and stayed on gamely to win by two-and-a-quarter lengths from the rallying Red Sea Girl.
Henry De Bromhead said: “John gave her a super ride — he’s riding out of his skin.
“I’m delighted for the Fitzgeralds, and she looks like another nice mare. She toughed it out and stayed on well up the straight.
“She had been working well. She did a nice piece of work in Monksgrange a couple of weeks ago so we hoped she might run well.”
