Nara put a first-fence unseat in the Munster National firmly in the rear-view mirror when dominating off the front in the Suir Blueway Mares Chase at Clonmel.

It was just last Sunday that she departed early on at Limerick when landing steeply, but she was clearly none the worse for that.

Mark Walsh had her in front from the off and the 8//1 favourite asserted after two out and ran away with the race once the last was negotiated.

She came in by an easy 11 lengths from Ad Caelum

Henry de Bromhead said: "She jumped well and as Mark said, she is more settled this year, or at least she looked it there anyway. She is learning all the time and hopefully can keep improving.

"She seemed fine since Sunday when she just landed a bit steeply.

"We'll look at our options and might go back to handicap company. We'll look for something similar to the Munster National again, but down in trip. There is a second-season novice at Punchestown for her or the Paddy Power Gold Cup (Cheltenham in November) is an option."

She gave owner J.P. McManus a double on the card following the success of No Big Deal in race two.

Nara has now won three times over fences.
