Progressive Miss Tempo brings up brace for de Bromhead

Miss Tempo showed that she is a mare going places as she made all to give Henry de Bromhead a quick-fire double in Tipperary.

Mike O'Connor did the steering and had a handy time off the front as he set the pace he wanted to go in this extended three mile handicap hurdle.

She had this big field off the bridle swinging into the straight and really cranked up the pressure when O'Connor asked her for more between the final two flights.

The margin grew by the last where she was untidy, however, it didn't prevent her powering home by a decisive nine lengths at 8/1.

Shane O'Callaghan did well to maintain the partnership on runner-up Ladiam (12/1) as he had lost his irons. Midnight Our Fred took third at 50/1 from Mister Twist (12/1).

Miss Tempo built upon a victory in a Naas handicap hurdle over an extended 2m2f at the end of March. She had been off since December 2021 prior to that Naas run.
